How to Fold a Japanese Paper Origami Ball (Kusudama)

As you watch this video which will show you how to fold an origami ball (called a Kusudama), you can pause whenever you need to. This is a more complicated folded paper craft, but it's worth the time it takes.

How To Fold A Japanese Paper Ball (Kusudama)

Notes about the last step of this video: Because many people get confused at this point, so the author of the video had this to say to make it clearer - In this last step, you are not making any new folds, but allowing the paper to fold again on the folds you made earlier.

Looking at the corner of the paper, allow it to fold along the diagonal line that goes to the center. Then, allow to fold inwards so that the point you are looking at becomes slimmer. Then, fold the point down so it goes into the center.

Next are some instructions to make another origami ball. This is more of a diagram with examples of the finished folded ball.
