How to Download and Install Scrapbook Fonts
Basic Font Installation Instructions for Scrapbook Fonts
- Click on the font download link on the webpage or right-click on the link (Windows). For Mac users, the download starts when you click.
- If you use Windows Internet Explorer, choose "Save this program (or file) to disk." If you use Netscape Navigator, choose "Save File." If you use Safari on a MAC, right click and select "Save Link As."
- To use the right-click method, you will see a pop-up window after you right-click on the link. From this pop-up window, choose the option to "Save Target as..." and it will either download to your default location on your computer, such as the desktop, or you can browse to a folder that you want to put the downloaded file into.
- You can use the filename just as it is when you download or you can give the file a new name.
- When you click OK, the download will begin. Large font files may take several minutes to download depending on the speed of your computer and your internet connection.
- If your downloaded files are in a compressed archive file (.zip, .bin, .hqx, .sit) you'll need to expand the file. Some computers will do this for you automatically (For example, in Windows Explorer, when you click on the filename, the file will unzip or extract the contents - you also may have to right click on the downloaded file name for the contents of the compressed file to be extracted).
- If your file doesn't extract automatically, you will need a program such as WinZip (or Stuffit Expander on a MAC) to open it.
