The Three Bugs in a Rug Autumn Memory Box Kit includes:
- Nine sheets of 12" x 12" double sided paper
- One 12" x 12" sheet of die cut shapes
- White memory box with lid
Three Bugs in a Rug Memory Box Tips:
Outside of Memory box
- First choose what pattern paper you want to decorate the outside of the box. You can use one pattern or different patterns.
- Cut out 4- 4x4 squares. Use quarter rounder for corners (this is optional)
- Glue your 4x4 squares on to box.
- Decorate the outside with your embellishments and or photos.
Lid
- Choose a pattern for the top of the box and then cut out 1- 4x4 piece and glue on top of lid.
- Choose the pattern for the sides of the lid and cut out 4- 1 ¾ x 4 and glue on sides.
- Add additional embellishments
Inside Box
- Decorate the inside of the box similar to the outside.
- If you want to ad additional pages leave the inside bottom of the box blank.
- The key to adding additional pages are to cut out the inside pages smaller than the box sides.
- Cut out 1- 3 ¾ x 11 ¾ stripe of pattern paper.
- Make a fold approx. 3 7/8 inches from each end.
- The folds should match how the box folds up.
- Glue the center part of the strip to the bottom of the box.
- You can do this with additional strips as well. Just make sure each additional strip added is smaller than the previous on so the box folds up properly.
Decorate the rest with your photos and embellishments.
