Pouncing is an important step in creating a fresco painting. If done properly, you will end up with a clear and distinct “outline” of your traced cartoon on your intonaco plaster. Each wheel of the tracing tools has needle sharp, hardened teeth, beveled to a good point. They run freely and swivel easily. Smooth aluminum barrel.

This fresco pouncing tools set includes the following tools:

· Coarse tracing wheel - 7/16" diameter, 15 teeth per inch.
· Coarse tracing wheel - 1/4" diameter, 15 teeth per inch.
· 6 oz. bottle of superfine, 100% pure artist-quality charcoal - willow type, extra soft, intense black.
· Cloths, rubber bands, and instructions to make pounce bags.
